6 days Gorillas and Chimpanzee Trekking Tour begins at the Entebbe International Airport where you are met by a driver guide who takes you through a meet and greet session then briefing about the 6 Days Gorilla trek and Chimpanzee Safari. He shall then transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park for trekking Chimpanzees then Bwindi Forest National Park to trek the majestic Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest habitat.

Detailed Itinerary of the 6 Days Gorillas and Chimpanzee Trekking Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe then to Hotel

Arrive at the Entebbe International Airport then proceed to meet the driver guide who transfers you to your hotel on a journey of 15 minutes.

On meeting the driver guide, you shall go through precise briefing about the 6 Days Gorillas and Chimpanzee Trekking Tour then later embark on journey to check-in hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Protea Hotel Entebbe.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

on arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you go through meet and greet session regarding the 5 Days Chimpanzee and Wildlife Safari then embark on transfer to the vast green beautiful Kibale Forest National Park situated in the western part of Uganda before Fort Portal Town.

You shall transfer for a period of 3 to 4 hours watching the green terrain, bird species as well as have lunch en-route. After a while, you shall reach the park at the park headquarters at Kanyanchu Visitor’s Center where you register if you shall trek Chimpanzees the next day. After registration, you shall proceed to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking at Kibale Forest National Park

Early morning breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for precise briefing on conduct around the chimpanzees. On reaching here, you are welcomed by park rangers who take you through precise briefing on conduct around the Chimpanzees as they inform you about the vast Kibale Forest National Park as well as the various chimpanzee communities available to be trekked in the park.

After the precise briefing, you shall be located into groups of 8 with lead ranger guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest to trek the chimpanzees for a period of 2 to 4 hours.

You shall follow varying trails in the forest vegetation as you traverse from one point to another until you meet the chimpanzees and stay in their presence taking many photos to keep. After trekking the chimpanzees, you shall return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Breakfast then embark on transfer for a period of 4 to 5 hours watching the green terrain vegetation, bird species as well as lunch. After a while, you shall reach the Park and proceed to check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Forest Impenetrable Forest

Early morning breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for precise briefing on conduct around the Gorillas. On reaching here, you are welcomed by park rangers who take you through precise briefing on conduct around the Gorillas as they inform you about the vast Bwindi Forest National Park as well as the various Mountain Gorilla trekking families that inhabit the thick forest vegetation habitat.

After precise briefing, you shall be located into groups of 8 with lead ranger guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest to trek the Mountain Gorillas for a period of 3 to 5 hours. You shall follow varying trails in the thick green forest vegetation as you traverse from one point with park rangers informing you about the park and Gorillas. After trekking the Gorillas, you shall return to the park headquarters for your Gorilla Trekking Certificate then to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge.

Day 6: Departure to Kampala or Entebbe Airport

Breakfast in the morning then with all your luggage transfer on departure to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
