1. Kibale Forest Camp
Kibale Forest Camp is located just outside the southern part of Kibale Forest National Park. It borders the Magombe swamp, known for the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary and is a mere 10 min drive to Kanyanchu Visitor Center, the place from where your chimp track will start. The Camp offers numerous comfortable accommodation to suit your budget with 12 African en-suite safari style tents tucked away in a lush forest or our thatched non self-contained tents (lazy camping option),a great value for money is guaranteed. The rooms are available at US $40–$70 for basic style tents tucked away in a verdant forest or our thatched non self-contained tents.
While at the lodge, you shall watch the black and white colobus monkeys as well as the wood owl fond of calling his partner. Watch primates swinging through the trees and observe rare birds, beautiful butterflies fluttering around. The Camp’s base is close to the forest edge under rainforest canopy with safari style tents with facilities enjoying birdlife while seated on your porch.

2. Kibale Forest Lodge
Kibale Forest Lodge offers ideal and affordable accommodation to all travelers visiting the vast stunning Kibale Forest National Park, the Primate capital of the World. It is set in a tropical serene environment and easily accessible making it a perfect start for Chimpanzee trekking, bird watching, nature hikes, community visits and all other activities in and around the park.
Our lodge has 12 spacious self-contained rooms with African decor all sourced from the local community around Kibale. All rooms are surrounded by stunning tropical plants for a quiet, relaxed and fresh natural stay and a wonderful morning to sounds of some bird species from the park. 3. Chimpanzee Forest Lodge
Chimpanzee Forest Lodge offers accommodation in beautifully furnished self-contained cottages (Bandas) with a panoramic view of Kibale Forest National park and the surrounding Tea plantations. We also offer accommodation in a large ancient colonial house, which was formerly home to the British commissioner in the 1950s. It is well furnished with two self-contained rooms in a colonial setting with beautiful views of Kibale national park, the Tea plantation, and the crater lake. Enjoy hot showers in western-style bathrooms. OR, camp on a flat grassy site separated away from the main guest house and cottages with shade and seclusion.
