Detailed Itinerary of the 5 Days kibale Chimpanzee and Queen Elizabeth Safari

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

on arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you go through meet and greet session regarding the 5 Days Chimpanzee and Wildlife Safari then embark on transfer to the vast green beautiful Kibale Forest National Park situated in the western part of Uganda before Fort Portal Town.

You shall transfer for a period of 3 to 4 hours watching the green terrain, bird species as well as have lunch en-route. After a while, you shall reach the park at the park headquarters at Kanyanchu Visitor’s Center where you register if you shall trek Chimpanzees the next day. After registration, you shall proceed to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking at Kibale Forest National Park

Early morning breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for precise briefing on conduct around the chimpanzees. On reaching here, you are welcomed by park rangers who take you through precise briefing on conduct around the Chimpanzees as they inform you about the vast Kibale Forest National Park as well as the various chimpanzee communities available to be trekked in the park.

After the precise briefing, you shall be located into groups of 8 with lead ranger guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest to trek the chimpanzees for a period of 2 to 4 hours. You shall follow varying trails in the forest vegetation as you traverse from one point to another until you meet the chimpanzees and stay in their presence taking many photos to keep. After trekking the chimpanzees, you shall return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Breakfast in the morning then transfer to the stunning Queen Elizabeth National Park located a few kilometers off the park. You transfer for a period of 2 hours watching the green terrain, bird species as well as lunch then later you shall reach the park and proceed an Game Drive as you traverse from one point to another watching wildlife animals i.e African elephants, buffaloes, hippos along the Kazinga Channel, leopards, Uganda kobs, etc. After the Game Drive, you shall transfer to check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel

Breakfast then embark on transfer for a game Drive in the park. You shall traverse from one point to another watching various wildlife animals like African elephants, buffaloes, hippos along the Kazinga Channel, leopards, Uganda kobs, etc.

You shall transfer for a period of 2 to 3 hours taking many photos to keep as well as get information regarding the park. After the Game Drive, you shall have lunch then break off for lunch and later proceed to the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat cruise which offers you views of hippos, crocodiles beneath the waters.

After the cruise that goes for 3 hours, you shall transfer back to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Bush Lodge.

Day 5: Departure to Kampala or Entebbe Airport

Breakfast in the morning then with all your luggage transfer on departure to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
